52-Allergen Allergy Test
In-vitro testing (blood test) with Multiplex 52-allergen test only requires a small amount of blood and is able to test the 52 common allergens in the region:
- Latex (1 allergen)
- Foods (29 allergens):
Rice, Wheat, Cow Milk, Goat Milk, Cheese, Soybean, Peanut, Hazelnut, Chocolate, Egg Yolk, Egg White, Chicken, Beef, Mutton, Pork, Crab, Shrimp, Lobster, Mussel, Oyster, Codfish, Tuna, Salmon, Tomato, Carrot, Potato, Garlic, Baker’s Yeast, Strawberry
- Grasses Pollens, Tree Pollens & Moulds (12 allergens):
Bermuda Grass, Timothy Grass, Short Ragweed, Common Mugwort, Goldenrod, Acacia, Pine, Penicillium, Cladosporium, Aspergillus, Candida, Alternaria
- Pets, Pests & Mites (10 allergens):
Cat Fur, Dog Fur, Chicken Fur, Duck Fur, German Cockroach, Oriental Cockroach, American Cockroach, Dust mites D. farinae, Dust mites D. pteronyssinus, Dust mites Blomia tropicalis.
A positive result indicates sensitization and the presence of IgE towards the case, an in-vivo skin prick test (SPT) may be advisable. A negative result is very predictive of the absence of allergic disease to a given allergen when there is no demonstrate detection of the allergen-specific IgE.
