COVID-19 Pandemic Has Reminded Us That Health Comes First.

We MUST be mindful of everyday preventive actions to stop the spread of germs:

Avoid Close Contact

Avoid close contact with people who are sick. When you are sick, keep your distance from others to protect them from getting sick too.

Stay Home When You Are Sick

If possible, stay home from work, school, and errands when you are sick. You will help prevent others from catching your illness.

Cover Your Mouth And Nose

Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing. It may prevent those around you from getting sick. Throw away the tissue and wash your hands when done.

Clean Your Hands Often

Washing your hands often will help protect you from germs. When soap and water are not available, you can use alcohol-based disposable hand wipes or gel sanitizers.

Avoid Touching Your Eyes, Nose Or Mouth

Germs are often spread when a person touches something that is contaminated with germs and then touches his or her eyes, nose or mouth.

Practice Other Good Health Habits

Support your immune system. Get plenty of sleep, be physically active, manage your stress, drink plenty of fluids and eat nutritious food.

Take Time To Get A Flu Vaccine

Flu vaccination can reduce flu illnesses, doctors’ visits, and missed work and school due to flu, as well as prevent flu-related hospitalizations.

WHAT YOU CAN DO TO MAINTAIN YOUR HEALTH

Healthy balanced diet

Take the right health supplement

Keep to your optimum calories requirement per day to maintain a healthy weight

Reduce and manage stress

Low sugar and salt intake

Get enough sleep

Exercise 150 minutes every week; 30 minutes 5 times weekly

We must lead a healthy lifestyle to prevent chronic medical conditions such as Heart Disease, Diabetes, Hypertension, End Stage Kidney Failure, Stroke, Cancer and others. Medical Check-Up or Health Screening is important to assess your current health condition and take preventive action to reduce the risk for chronic diseases.

A medical check-up requires you to declare if you have:

Previous or current medical or surgical conditions

Physical activity and exercise regimen

Smoking habit and/or Excessive alcohol consumption

Family medical history

Some tests might be recommended to be done during follow up visits for early detection of certain medical conditions. Early detection can achieve better cure rates, better control of the condition before developing any health complication such as heart attack, stroke, kidney failure or death.

Many medical check-up tests are available. Your doctor and you will decide which tests are best suited for you. Doctors, dietitians and nutritionists are available to provide you with a thorough consultation and guide you in dietary and lifestyle changes.

We offer Health Screening packages that are tailored to your needs, from basic to comprehensive.
