Description
Gastroscopy (OGDS) -A safe and non-invasive diagnostic test that visualizes the upper part of the digestive tract down to the upper part of small intestine, including throat, esophagus and stomach.
Colonoscopy – A thin flexible tube is inserted through the rectum and travels to the other end of the large intestine.
You are advised to go for gastroscopy & colonoscopy if you have any digestive signs or symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, difficulty swallowing, heartburn abdominal pain, rectal bleeding, chronic constipation, chronic diarrhea and to screen for colon cancer.
Fasting for at least 6 hours prior to the procedure is required. You are required to take a laxative.
