Maintaining a healthy digestive system is essential for efficient nutrient absorption, proper waste elimination, and a strong immune system. Poor digestive health can result in uncomfortable symptoms like indigestion, bloating, constipation, and diarrhea, as well as an elevated risk of digestive disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
Gastroscopy (OGDS) is a safe and non-invasive diagnostic test that examines the upper digestive tract which includes esophagus, stomach and duodenum for gastro-esophageal reflux disease, peptic ulcer disease, Helicobacter pylori infection, esophageal cancer and stomach cancer.
